Finishing Print Team Lead - Night Shift Operator Print production - Data cards

With increased work our client, a leader in Data Card and security ID products has a new opening for Night Shift print finishing team lead / operator for busy gift card operation.

Casual Monday through Friday ongoing, they are looking for someone with a view to permanent longer term.

Night shift 10:30pm to 6:30am

Located in Bayswater, on-site parking and other benefits are available here. 

In brief:

You'll be working with the Print finishing team as a machine operator for card finishing equipment/machinery. Collation, Laminating, die cutting/punching of secure identity card, financial, gift cards and more. Very high end. Low level leadership potential along with:

• Multi-skill to learn multiple print machines.

About you:

Experience operating or assisting in one or more printing machines an advantage as well as previous experience within a card/ plastic manufacturing / production environment;

• Print experience highly desirable.
• Previous Team Lead experience essential
• Mechanical aptitude
• Security printing experience preferred but not necessary.
• UV sheetfed Komori experience nice to have, 
• Printing on plastics a bonus.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and numerical ability;
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.

A police security check is required for these positions.
