Fire Technician

Due to continued growth within the business, we are seeking talented and professional Technician’s, Installers, Sprinkler Fitters who will bring value to our business and customers.

The successful applicant will need to have a current driver’s license, prior industry experience and the ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of various types of systems & equipment i.e., fire detection, fire doors, fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire hydrants, Exit and Emergency Lighting.

 Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Preventative maintenance testing & servicing of fire systems and equipment to AS1851 
• Fault finding, diagnosis and undertaking corrective action of fire systems
• Defect repairs, installation, and modification of fire systems & equipment
• Being part of a paid rotating on-call roster.
• Supporting other teams and staff

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• ACT or NSW Driver's license
• Asbestos Awareness & Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Police and WWVP Check, or the ability to obtain
• NV1 Clearance, although not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write technical reports
• Good customer service focus and flexible attitude
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
