First Year Appentice Mechanic

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn from expert technicians and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, safe, clean, fast-paced workshop. The position is open to male and female applicants up to and including 19 years of age.

As an apprentice, you'll embark on a transformative four-year journey where you'll acquire all the skills necessary to become a fully qualified mechanical technician. You will diagnose, repair and maintain light vehicles, including cars, light trucks, jet skis and motorcycles. You will gain top-notch training and mentorship to set you apart in the industry.

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking male and female applicants who are mature, intelligent, respectful, emotionally and medically stable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Applicants must also demonstrate a focus on safety and the ability to embrace and work within effective business systems.

What information to prepare for an interview

If you are contacted for an initial interview, you will need to provide the following information. Please note that only original documents are required. Copies are not accepted.

• School reports commencing from year 7 -10
• School reports from years 11 & 12 if applicable
• Copies of any certificates you have earned through your school years
• Certificates of any courses you have completed since leaving school
• Certified copy of your driver's licence from the date it was obtained until December 2024

This position is not suitable for those who:

• Are smokers, vapers or drug takers
• Demonstrate temper tantrums or uncontrollable anger (emotional instability)
• Are lazy and unmotivated
• Have little or no initiative or common sense 
• Can’t leave their mobile phone alone during work time

Applicant considerations

Applicants with unblemished L or P driving licences will be considered. A certified copy of your driving record must be presented during your first interview. A copy may be obtained from your Service NSW Centre. 

Please be aware that final-round applicants must undergo a drug analysis test. Applicants with positive test results will not be considered further.
