We are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a Fitter and Turner tojoin our Nutrien Water Lameroo, SA team.

About the role:
 

Reporting to the branch manager you will undertake repairs and breakdown support for Nutrien Water Lameroo clients. In addition, you will be responsible for: 
 

• Stripping, assessing and repairing pumps
• General machining of parts and fabrication
• Machine pump shafts
• Re-assembling pumps
• Machine and rebuild Centrifugal Clutches
• Repair right angle gearboxes
• Fabrication of general machinery parts

About You:

To be successful, it is desirable if you can demonstrate:
 

• Experience with Pumps, Pivots and Bores in a technical/ maintenance role
• Current qualification as Millwright or Fitter and Turner
• Understanding of the irrigation and water industry in Australia
• Ability to work in a team and take the lead when needed
• Communications skills
• Positive Can-do attitude and eager to learn and grow
• Ability to work effectively in a safety-focused environment
