We currently require a Fitter & Turner to join us on a Full time, Permanent basis.
We are currently seeking WA based, Experienced Fitter & Turner for project work based from Perth, WA. The company offers a pay rate of $$80,000 - $100,000 per annum

The Fitter & Turner role is to maintain all fixed plant, Conveyor Belt and related assets for optimum availability on a planned basis, including repairs and installations in order to provide a responsive service to unplanned breakdowns and new projects.

The responsibilities of this role will include:
Grinding, cutting and shaping metal and other raw materials.
Repairing, maintaining and operating large pieces of machinery.
Fits, assembles, grinds and shapes metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment.
Operating specialized tools to manufacture parts.
Performing regular maintenance on machinery, diagnosing and repairing any faults.
Setting guides, stops and other controls for tools and setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools.
Monitoring the fabrication process carefully and making safe adjustments.
Following set procedures and routines.
Working with and understanding forms, designs and patterns to determine the best materials, machine and machine settings to fabricate a part.
Checking assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using precise measuring tools.
Cutting, threading, bending and fitting hydraulic and pneumatic lines and pipes.
Erecting and assembling machines onsite strictly adhering to the protocols in place to keep yourself and others safe.
Work towards planned maintenance and inspection activities on a daily basis to maintain all fixed plant and related assets
Undertake troubleshooting, fault finding and preventative maintenance on all fixed plant, Conveyor Belt and related machinery on the process plant.
Perform unplanned maintenance activities as required
Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level of availability

To be considered you must have:
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate or equivalent
Working at Heights
EWP & Confined Space
Mining Construction, Installation or Maintenance experience
Current Australian Driver's License (Manual)
National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
