Job Description - Fixed Income Quantitative Analyst Pricing, Risk & Analytics

Develop sophisticated pricing, risk, and analytics solutions for fixed income trading, combining quantitative expertise, programming, and financial modelling to solve complex problems and deliver capabilities.

What You'll Do:

  1. Develop pricing, risk, and analytics applications for the Fixed Income trading business.
  2. Solve complex quantitative and analytical problems across the trading lifecycle.
  3. Enhance quantitative libraries and analytical capabilities.
  4. Develop and deploy real-time spreadsheet and software applications.
  5. Build new capabilities that improve trading processes and accelerate business objectives.
  6. Apply mathematical reasoning and data analysis to challenging financial problems.
  7. Work collaboratively with experienced traders, quantitative specialists, and technology professionals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Taking ownership of quantitative application development from design through deployment.
  2. Enhancing pricing and risk models and supporting analytics infrastructure.
  3. Working with cash and derivative products across Fixed Income markets.
  4. Developing solutions usingPython, SQL, Excel VBA , or comparable technologies.
  5. Translating complex quantitative requirements into reliable, production-ready applications.
  6. Analyzing data to support trading decisions and business objectives.
  7. Continuously improving the performance, functionality, and usability of quantitative tools.
  8. Contributing to the expansion of sophisticated Fixed Income trading capabilities.

About You:

  1. Postgraduate degree inEngineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science , or another quantitative discipline.
  2. Prior experience as a Quantitative Analyst within Fixed Income.
  3. Expert understanding ofcash and derivative products .
  4. Advanced mathematical reasoning and data-analysis capabilities.
  5. Strong programming skills inPython, SQL, Excel VBA , or similar technologies.
  6. Engineering mindset with a strong focus on delivery and practical outcomes.
  7. Conscientious, reliable, resilient, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  8. Strong collaborative instincts and excellent communication skills.
  9. Motivated by solving complex problems and building impactful solutions.
