Fixed-term Full-time Groundsman/Handyman

We are looking for a Fixed-term Full-time Groundsman/Handyman to join our company for about 6 months and help with the grounds and maintenance tasks at Lake Hume Holiday Park in Bowna, NSW, just a 30-minute drive from Albury.

The working hours are between 8am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. 

You will be paid an hourly rate of $25 plus Superannuation.

 Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carry out general grounds and maintenance tasks
• Control weeds, pests and diseases, including the application of pesticides within the scope of training and knowledge
• Complete painting of cabins and other park buildings
• Perform basic handyman works
• Maintain a safe work environment and safe work systems and procedures
• Always display a high level of professional and ethical conduct
• Refer matters that may impact the business & employees to the Park Manager

Position requirements:

• Ability to work both under the instructions of the Park Managers and unsupervised
• Experience in gardening and landscaping preferred
• Have a current driver's licence
• Ability to operate plant and equipment
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills
• A trade certificate would be desirable but is not essential
• Physically fit and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude
• Understanding of WH&S responsibilities
