Fleet Controller - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Our client is a family-owned business who have been operating for over 33 years and is one of Melbourne's leading taxi Truck and 3PL management providers. With multiple sites across Melbourne, they cater for a diverse range of clients from Food Manufactures to FMCG and Packaging Clients.

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Fleet Controller to join their dynamic team based in Heatherton.

 You will be required to Maintain and manage an efficient flow of work, ensuring all bookings are despatched in an efficient and timely manner and that they have enough fleet vehicles, including outside hire companies to effectively cover all incoming work within their  service offerings.

Your Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to.

• Complete incoming bookings & despatch jobs
• Escalate any issues to the Operations Manager/Supervisor
• Ensure all data and paperwork is collected and made ready for invoicing 
• Ensure pallets are exchanged and returned -when required
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints 
• Ensure incoming telephone calls are answered in a timely manner 
• Advising of ways to improve efficiency in operations and the performance of the fleet
• Comply with legislative OHS requirements
