Fleet Finance Team Leader

Job Description

Europcar is seeking an enthusiastic Fleet Finance Team Leader to join our Head Office team in Tullamarine, Victoria on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Fleet Finance Manager, this role will oversee the efficient and accurate processing of fleet sales, payouts, and collections.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Process the end-to-end processing of vehicle sales, disposals, write-offs, and finance payouts.

• Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and journals for all fleet-related transactions.

• Liaise with finance companies to manage liabilities, payments, and contract terminations.

• Monitor and minimise debtor balances, finance charges, and penalties.

• Prepare monthly and year-end reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting and lease standards.

• Support audits and undertake special projects as directed by the Fleet Finance Manager.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

• Degree qualified or working towards in Finance, Accounting or Business

• Previous administration or finance related experience is advantageous

• Experience working with different systems is highly desirable

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet timelines

• Basic accounting, credit and collection principles

• High attention to detail
