Job Description

We require a dynamic and motivated Food and Beverage Manager to lead ourFood and Beverageteam on a full-time basis at our stunning Oaks Port Douglas Resort.

This is an exceptional career opportunity for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to step up into their first Food and Beverage Manager position, with extensive support from our experienced General Manager.

Package: $80,000 + Super + Onsite Accommodation for $120 per week.

As the Food and BeverageManager you will:

• Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant andbar
• Managing the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the restaurant and bar
• Developand maintaina strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients
• Managing, leading andmotivating staff to ensure a high preforming team culture is maintained
• Work closely with the General Manager and marketing department to develop marketing material and promotions for the Food and Beverage department
• Roster according to department needs
• Create budgets and monitor financial performance of the Food and Beverage department

Qualifications

To be a success in this position, you will have:

• Minimum 3years managerial experience gained at an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager level
• A current RSA certificate
• Strong staff management experience, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a high preforming team
• Ability to generate and implement revenue building ideas throughout the Food and Beverage department
• Solid understanding of alcohol
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
• A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential)
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
