The Position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all Food & Beverage staff and ensuring the highest quality of customer service is provided while maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment. 

Sydney Zoo is open every day of the year and this position will require the successful candidate to work some weekends and public holidays.

Skills, Knowledge, and Relevant Experience

ESSENTIAL 

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer service environment. 

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Professional personal presentation. 

• Customer service focused. 

• Good organisational, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills. 

• Able to work well both within a team environment and autonomously. 

• Ability to work well under pressure. 

• Good problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. 

• Strong leadership and staff management skills. 

• Legal working rights within Australia. 

• Knowledge of and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety, and Equal Employment Opportunity. 
  

DESIRABLE 

• Previous experience in a Supervisory role within a hospitality environment. 

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation.
