At its centre is the Grand Ballroom—an architectural showpiece featuring seven‑metre‑high ceilings, twelve sculptural chandeliers, and a dramatic floor‑to‑ceiling feature window.

With ten versatile event rooms, seven dedicated breakout spaces, and capacity for up to 958 guests, the property provides a dynamic and flexible environment for conferences, celebrations, and high‑profile gatherings in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Join our Ladies and Gentlemen and supervise the preparation of event & meeting spaces, tending bar and serving platters of food. 


• Support Food and Beverage operations during times when there is limited or no Event activity


• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, exhibiting our legendary service and enabling future bookings 


• Supervise the execution of event arrangements to exceed guest expectations 


• Supervise food and beverage venue operations and help lead the service team when there is limited or no event activity.


• Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence throughout each guest interaction 


• Lead the banquets team with support of the Director of Events, Banquets Manager and Assistant Banquets Manager.


• Be an empowering leader by providing motivation and support to your department’s Ladies and Gentlemen 


• Plan and execute team building activities for our associates as they are our most important assets 

About You:
