In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the delivery of safe, legal, and quality-compliant products through strong cross-functional collaboration. You'll lead the daily Quality Tasting Panel each morning, helping to uphold our high standards and champion product excellence.

You'll be responsible for reviewing production records and making finished goods disposition decisions, ensuring compliance with Global Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) standards. You'll also contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and processes, helping to foster a strong Quality culture and support operational excellence across the site.

What you’ll do:

• Manage hold and release of finished goods in a timely and accurate manner.

• Co-ordinating disposition, sampling plans and quality root cause analysis partnering with Operations, Supply and R&D teams to ensure effective corrective actions and reduce Quality issues and holds.

• Drive best-practice traceability across Mars Food by managing and continuously improving systems and processes that ensure rapid, and accurate product tracing when it matters most.

• Maintain and improve the online production record data management system.

• Manage the daily product quality assessment panel and retains process.

Your unique ingredients:
 

• Science or Food Science Degree or equivalent

• Previous experience in a manufacturing fast paced environment, ideally in the food Industry.

• Experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance or Quality Control. (advantageous).

• Experience working with computer systems and SAP is advantageous.

• Highly effective communication skills and a strong attention to detail are essential.
