Footwear Retail Sales - Immediate Start

We are a specialist footwear retail outlet located in Wollongong, near Wollongong Hospital.

Our business essentially specialises in providing appropriate footwear to people who have medical or disabling conditions, as well as comfort shoes designed to improve the general quality of life. Many of our clients are of mature age or restricted mobility and we offer a home visit service.

We have an opening for a full-time sales assistant. You will need to be available Monday to Friday, (actual working hours may be flexible), as well as having the ability to travel to local customer locations within that time frame. Access to your own motor vehicle is a requirement with appropriate reimbursement of expenses.

We will provide all the necessary training in supply of appropriate footwear, however, a medical background (pedorthics, nursing, physiotherapy, podiatry etc) or similar experience will be a distinct advantage, as would previous footwear sales.

You will need to have a friendly, enthusiastic and caring outlook with the ability to respectfully deal with mature age/disabled customers.

Strong organisational/communication skills with reasonable computer skills are a must, as is a current drivers licence and you will need to be able to obtain a National Police Certificate and NDIS certificates, as necessary.
