Based at our Further Processing Facility at Thomastown, you will join a team of hard-working team players.

We are seeking Forklift Operators to join us on day and afternoon shifts.

Working Hours

• 7:10am – 3:40pm
• 3:30pm – 12:00am

Daily Tasks

• Loading and unloading trailers, trucks

• Moving goods to designated areas
• Storing goods in racking
• Stocktaking and other administrative tasks relating to incoming and outgoing goods.
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to operate MHE (RF, Counter balance Forklifts)
• Checking loads are secure
• Conduct COR checks
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments
• Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
• Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene
• Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.

You will bring to this role

• Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
• Proven and previous experience operating forklifts in a similar environment.
• Must have High Reach experience
• To be able to successfully communicate both written and verbally
• Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
• Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
