Lead enterprise wide FP&A, partner with senior leaders and drive decision making in this high impact role! Your new company A well established, values driven organisation with a strong national footprint is seeking an experienced FP&A leader to drive enterprise wide budgeting, forecasting and performance insight. This is a pivotal role partnering closely with executives and operational leaders, leading a small, high performing team and influencing strategic decision making through high quality financial modelling, analysis and reporting. Reporting directly to a senior finance executive, you will take ownership of the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle, deliver insightful management reporting, and lead complex financial modelling to support investment decisions, pricing strategies and long term planning. You will act as a trusted business partner across multiple stakeholders, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights while continuously improving tools, processes and ways of working. This position has the potential to progress to CFO level in the near future, and so this succession plan is being kept in mind for the recruitment of this role.
Your new role
Lead the organisation's annual budget, rolling forecast and long term financial planning processes
Manage and develop a small FP&A team in a collaborative, high performance environment
Deliver timely, accurate monthly management reporting and variance analysis
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models (including scenario and NPV analysis)
Partner with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives, business cases and board-level decision making
Oversee cash flow forecasting and key regulatory or external financial reporting requirements
Drive continuous improvement across systems, models and reporting frameworks
What you'll need to succeed
CA/CPA qualified with a relevant tertiary degree
Strong background in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance
Proven experience leading budgets, forecasts and complex financial models
Advanced Excel and experience with finance systems and budgeting tools
Confident communicator able to influence and engage non-finance stakeholders
A proactive leader with a commercial mindset and high attention to detail
