The Ganley Group own and operate various venues across Melbourne including; The Bay Hotel Mornington, The Fifth Province, Freddie Wimpoles & Angus n Bon. We are now hiring casual Front of House staff for The Bay Hotel in Mornington.
The Bay Hotel is a proper locals pub, a place to discover the untold stories of Mornington’s rich heritage, relaxed beach-side main street and pub culture. Set in the former Commercial Bank building on the main street, this quintessential design draws inspiration specifically from 1900 Australian heritage, pub culture and the iconic beach-side town Mornington with a sprinkle of Irish pub charm!
WHAT'S THE JOB?
- Meet, greet & seat customers
- Take orders via table service
- Serve a wide range of food and beverages
- Provide a fast, friendly and attentive service
- Keep front of house clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
- Adhere to safety and responsible service of alcohol
- Be flexible, reliable and hard working
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Proven & recent experience in a Front of House Wait Staff position
- A knowledge of food service & alcoholic beverages including wines
- Genuine love and passion for the industry
- A team player with a positive, resilient & a can-do attitude
- Valid RSA
- Full working rights in Australia
- Weekend availability
