Out fleet of service vehicles cover Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland. Our well-equipped facility designed specifically to cater for the broad range of services we offer our customers includes a purpose-built engineering workshop, Fuel Bowser/dispensing maintenance workshop and storage bay, Mobile fleet maintenance & Truck Wash Bay, On-site Fuel Storage and Fuel Systems Process Management workshop.

The Role:

On this basis, we are currently seeking an experienced Fuel Service Technician to join our team in Geebung Brisbane.  If you are Engineering, electrical or Mechanically qualified, this role could be suitable for you. You will be an integral member of our team and will be accountable for using your expertise to complete various assessments and audits in the on site or in the field at many sites across Eastern Australia. Your ability to travel for, at times, extended periods is therefore a job role requirement as is the ability to share in a 24/7 on-call roster. The role also has a requirement for office-based tasks which will be performed from our Head office. 

Duties:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities at various sites
• Assist when required with Project Construction activities
• Administrative duties including maintenance reports, service and calibration records, time sheeting, quoting, HSSE documentation, procedure writing, etc.
• Manage Sub-contractors as required within company guidelines and procedures
• Effectively fault find and provide / deliver effective solutions to problems

Skills and Abilities:

• Unrestricted driver’s licence required
• Technical Engineering data and hydraulic / electrical schematic drawing interpretation ability
• Sound logistical and organisational skills – the ability to plan operative & productive service runs that meet client requirements and are cost effective
• A sound knowledge of business administration processes including quoting, procurement, job costing and invoicing
• A good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of software with reasonable knowledge of Excel spread sheeting
• Effective written and verbal communication ability including report writing skills          
• Working autonomously or in a team environment
• Have the ability to travel overnight at times for extended periods of up to two (2) weeks

The following would be preferred and advantageous to your application:

• Trade or technical Certificate in an Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical discipline
• White Card
• Knowledge of Fuel storage and distribution systems
