Full Time Warehouse Assistant - Urgent Role

The Company

SecondBite is one of Australia’s largest free food rescue organisations. We rescue quality fresh nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to charities and people in need.

The Position

Operating from Morningside, this is a fulltime position with shifts that will be worked Monday to Friday. You are a versatile individual who enjoys being active as you work alongside a great team in our warehouse.

You can salary package up to a maximum of $18,550 of your salary per year for both living expenses ($15,900 - mortgage, rent, groceries, house bills) and meals and accommodation ($2,650 - dinning out and holidays) resulting in more money in your pocket each fortnight!

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload donations and deliveries
• Use forklift and pallet jacks to move produce within warehouse and when loading and unloading vehicles
• Sort donated food, pick stock and makeup of orders for warehouse collections and deliveries

Key Qualifications & Requirements: 

• A current Forklift License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
• Have a MR Truck License (Desirable)
• Basic data entry skills
• Great communication, customer service and relationship building skills.
