Responsibilities and Duties:

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across Minty's platform, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Technology Integration: Work with various programming languages and frameworks, including Next.js, Node.js, Python, and machine learning libraries, to develop complex applications and solve technical challenges.
• Collaborative Engineering: Collaborate with a team of developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to ideate, develop, and launch new features and products.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate them into operations and activities, continually improving Minty's platform and technical offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with server-side languages, particularly Python, and familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, and experience with cloudenvironments, databases, and API services.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment and to pick up new skills and technologies quickly.

When a property is sold through a Minty referred agent, that agent pays Minty a pre-negotiated referral fee, typically around 20% of their commission. This allows Minty to provide its agent matching service completely free to home sellers and buyers. Some agents also pay Minty an ongoing partnership fee to be part of their network and receive leads.
Note: In response to COVID-19, Minty has updated its agent vetting process to prioritise agents who have robust safety protocols like virtual tours, social distancing at open homes, etc. Home sellers will be notified if a recommended agent meets these enhanced standards, though they can still view and consider all matched agents.
