Our restaurant, The Kitchen, is seeking a Full-Time Barista to work in our fast paced a la carte alfresco dining experience known for its bold décor, quality food and exceptional service. Open from 10:00am to 9:00pm daily, The Kitchen is always open and welcoming!

• Full availability, including nights and weekends.

• Excellent presentation standards
• Experience as a Barista

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 

• Make and sell coffees to a high standard as requested.
• Support the restaurant team as requested.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of coffee service.
• Ensure all tables are regularly cleared of used crockery and cutlery.
• Clean and reset tables in anticipation of the next customer.
• Take orders and provide table service according to established procedures.
• Ensure basic food preparation and hygienic handling requirements are met.
• Notify Team Leader of any necessary re-filling, concerns, or member feedback.
• Use and sign cleaning rosters for general cleaning duties.
• Work hours as per the roster.
• Minimise financial loss and waste.
• Ensure the work environment complies with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
• Ensure the environment is conducive to customer satisfaction- i.e., lights, music, air-conditioning, heaters, fans, blinds, and windows.
• Assist in other like duties when required, in a friendly and efficient manner and as requested by the Team Leader/ Manager.
