Funeral Director's Assistant - Get Hired Fast

A full-time position is currently available for a Funeral Director's Assistant to join our team.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Assisting on funerals as a Funeral Director's assistant
• Providing best practice in the preparation and presentation of deceased persons - To our standards and including special family requests
• Lifting of deceased and coffins
• Transfer of the deceased
• Accurately complete mortuary registration and checking procedures
• Trimming of coffins/caskets and nameplate engraving
• Washing of vehicles
• General cleaning duties
• Being on an on-call, after-hours roster

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service at all levels
• Ability to effectively communicate to both colleagues and clients
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Must be in a fit state of physical and psychological health to adequately perform the duties required - the position is physically demanding
• Be emotionally mature and possess high personal grooming standards
• Attention to detail
