About the Role

As a Future Student Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective students, helping them explore their study options and navigate the journey from enquiry to enrolment. Working within a dynamic, customer-focused team, you'll provide accurate advice and support across multiple communication channels while contributing to student recruitment, engagement, and conversion outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional support and advice to prospective students across phone, email, live chat, social media, and face-to-face channels. 
• Manage enquiries efficiently, providing accurate information and connecting students with specialist support when required. 
• Support admissions, compliance, and student administration activities to ensure a seamless student experience. 
• Contribute to recruitment campaigns, events, and outbound engagement initiatives that support future student conversion. 
• Help maintain knowledge resources and identify opportunities to enhance services, processes, and the customer experience.
   

About the Team

The Future Students Service Team is the primary contact point for prospective students across UOW's Australian campuses. As part of the Future Students and International Engagement Division, the team works closely with academic faculties and professional services to deliver outstanding experiences that support student recruitment, engagement, and enrolment.

• Experience delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced customer-facing or contact centre environment. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. 
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet service standards. 
• Confidence using digital systems and technology to support customer enquiries and administrative processes. 
• Relevant experience and/or qualifications in customer service, administration, student services, or a related field.

Role Details

• Employment type: Permanent/Continuing | Full-time appointment 
• Level 3/4 | Salary $67,214 - $85,682 + 17% Superannuation
• Position Description
• Location: Wollongong Campus 
• Valid Australian work rights required.  Visa sponsorship is not available. 
• This position has been classified as ‘child-related work”, more information is available within the position description.
• This position is not suitable for remote work in accordance with the UOW Remote Working Guidelines.
