Other Responsibilities:
- Handle customer queries, attend to any technical issues, and make regular announcements regarding promotions.
- Manage cash and coin transactions according to the venue's cash handling policy. This includes handling hopper refills, validating winning tickets, and managing unclaimed money and cheques.
- Assist clients with their queries, particularly regarding the gaming terminals, betting types, and the process of joining Yourplay.
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations, which includes setting up for business, processing bets, providing payouts, and maintaining displays.
- Provide customer service by answering queries, reporting problems to Management,
- Providing Customer Service and Gaming Support which includes issuing bookpays, hopper refills, and TITO, attending to customer queries, game queries, machine malfunctions, and coin/note jams.
- Undertakes general waiting duties contributing to both food and beverage service. This includes cooking snacks while adhering to food hygiene regulations and serving customers at the bar or at the machine in line with RSA regulations.
- Service the gaming room, ensuring compliance, customer service and attend to the gaming machines as required
- Service within the TAB including responding to customer queries on EBT’s and providing technical support
- General Bar service – taking orders for both food and beverage

Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the venue, including current and future promotions across all departments (Gaming, Keno, Wagering and Bistro), facilities, equipment functionality, and customer service standards.
- Proficient in following club policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements including responsible service of alcohol, gaming, and food hygiene
- Strong cash management skills
- Exceptional customer service skills encompassing dispute resolution capabilities
- Outstanding skills in food & beverage handling and maintaining venue cleanliness
- In-depth gaming, TAB knowledge, and anti-money laundering/counter-terrorism funding (AML/CTF) practices
- A passion for sports and racing
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills
- Superior time management abilities
Required Certifications and Licenses:
- Special Employee Gaming Licence
- Responsible Service of Gaming Accreditation Module 1, 2, 3 & 4
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Accreditation
- Anti Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Funding Training (AML/CTF)
- TAB Accreditation
