About the Role: Are you eager to launch your career in hospitality? This full-time position presents an exceptional opportunity to begin your journey under the guidance of our esteemed Maintenance Manager. You will enjoy fixed weekend coverage with two weekdays off.

As our Handyman/Gardener, you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to uphold the impeccable standards of our hotel rooms, restaurant, pool area, and grounds. Extensive training will be provided to ensure you excel in this diverse role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, gardens, and irrigation systems
• Execute general maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, and carpentry
• Detail and wash company vehicles; assist with shuttle duties
• Ensure pool maintenance meets Class 3 Pool Standards
• Coordinate with hotel staff and assist with guest requests

Skills and Experience: This role is ideal for someone keen to enter the hospitality industry. Prior experience in gardening, irrigation systems, and basic handyman tasks is advantageous. Physical fitness and stamina are essential due to the demanding nature of the role.

Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and willing to receive required booster doses
• Ability to work independently and with respect for team members
• High level of fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Courteous and professional demeanor towards guests
• Punctuality and dedication to service excellence
• Valid WA Driver's License to operate hotel shuttle bus (automatic)
• Australian work entitlements; available to work weekends
