The Role:
We currently have an opportunity available for a gardening and maintenance team member to join our team, who will be responsible for general gardening and maintenance work across a variety of sites. You will work across Brisbane to deliver a high quality of gardening and maintenance work, along with a team of professionals. Experienced knowledge of patching, painting, general handyman maintenance is beneficial. 

Responsibilities:

• Undertake a variety of odd jobs across multiple sites 
• General gardening maintenance including fertilizing, raking/leaf blowing, watering, planting, mulching, weed control, hedging/pruning and rubbish removal, 
• Ensure equipment and machinery are used safely 
• Perform routine and unplanned maintenance as required
• Coordinate subcontracts onsite and order required materials for jobs 
• General scoping of works
• Perform maintenance and repairs to defective equipment
• Patching and Painting 
• Prioritize and attend to urgent work requests using problem solving to troubleshoot solutions
• General maintenance of buildings  

What you will need: 

• WWCC
• Police Check
• Driver’s license 
• At least 3 years experience in a gardening and/or maintenance role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills 
• Dedication to safety and safe workplaces 
• Ability to liaise and work with external contractors
• A team player but also can work autonomously 
• Proficient with field-based mobility devices  
• To be reliable, have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
