General Manager Gaming

SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for a highly experienced gaming or casino professional to lead our gaming business in the role of General Manager Gaming, ensuring the performance optimisation and strong growth of both our Gaming Machines and Table Games products.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Australia, this role will oversee the gaming function and department at SkyCity Adelaide, and will be responsible for strategy development and execution, revenue generation and operational excellence, leading a culture that aligns with SkyCity's risk appetite and regulatory compliance obligations, innovation, product development and product management. Our General Manager Gaming is a key member of SkyCity Adelaide's General Management team and is responsible for the gaming strategy, development, and contribution to SkyCity's overall business strategy and commitment to a continuous improvement compliance culture.

About you

The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience within a gaming management role and possess a deep understanding of gaming practices and regulations, with a track record of success in developing and implementing strategies and operational plans to help drive business performance and optimisation. Whilst leading high performing teams, this role also requires a strategic thinker with excellent commercial acumen who is highly collaborative and a skilled influencer with the ability to drive outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as well as operating with the highest level of integrity and operational excellence always. The successful candidate will have proven ability in working effectively with different functions (Food & Beverage, Hotel etc) as well as Senior/Executive Management, and will have an excellent ability to identify and prioritise improvements in customer experience.
