About the Role

This is a permanent role, working closely with the development team to support the ongoing development of renewable energy projects. You will be skilled and autonomous using ArcGIS, as a large part of the role you will be training in house GIS desktop Power Users. Renewable energy experience would be valuable although not essential, as you will have support and guidance from an experienced team to bring you up to speed with the renewable technology.

Responsibilities

• Mapping of wind / solar farm sites using ArcGIS
• Spatial data capture, management, analysis, interpretation and presentation
• Assist the team with other areas of project development
• Analysis for identification of development opportunities
• Provision of work scopes and cost estimates
• Software support for internal users

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary degree (Ideally in Spatial Science / Surveying or other relevant discipline)
• Experience on ArcGIS essential
• Renewable experience valuable but not essential 
• Desire to work in the renewable industry
• Good communication skills
