Glass Processing Production Position

Adelaide Independent Glass are seeking a Full Time Glass Processing Machine Operator to join our team preferably with glass handling experience.

In this role, your key duties will include…

Operating machinery – Edging, Polishing and CNC of Glass Products

Assist in Dispatch - Loading trucks with finished products

All basic factory operations within your skillset, training provided where required.

Ensuring finished products are in a suitable fit for purpose condition.

Assisting in factory where required.

General House Keeping.

Adhere to WHS policies.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is required that you have…

Glass handling experience 

• Dispatch experience
• AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
• Experience in operating an overhead crane would be an advantage
• CNC operating experience would be an advantage  
• Water jet cutting of glass experience would be an advantage

A willingness to perform maintenance with a mechanical aptitude would definitely be an advantage.  

Experience with manufacturing/processing machinery

Ability to problem solve

Quality focused and driven with a high attention to detail

Safety conscious, ensuring a safe work environment

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player
