Glazing Scheduler / Operations Manager - with Growth Opportunities

We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Manager to support operational functions and oversee installer scheduling. Below are a list of duties that would be required to be successful in the position

Workshop Management

• Undertake operational management of trade and other workshop staff with the qualifications in fabrication and glazing.
• Ensuring the cost-effective use of resources is considered in the undertaking of all tasks.
• Confident communication skills for delegating tasks to workers
• Monitor materials / stock holding in coordination with Manager 
• Program and deliver instruction to in-factory workers in production timelines
• Process cutting sheets and order appropriate materials in coordination with Manager

Installation Scheduling

• Scheduling on-site technicians 
• Confident communication for booking installs with clients
• Program and deliver instruction to on-site trades for reactive works
• Program and deliver instruction to on-site trades for planned installations

Client Support

• At all times conduct business undertaken on behalf of the business in a professional manner to ensure the reputation of the business is upheld at all times.
• Ensure client timeframes are managed 
• Demonstrate good industry knowledge to clients
• Answer phone enquiries and emails - predominately relating to works in progress / scheduling

Administration

• Answer general phone enquires and emails escalated from reception 
• Assist with first point contact (e.g. phone, showroom, cash sales etc) if Reception is busy

Safety & Health

• To ensure compliance with all safety and health requirements, including wearing of PPE gear as required.
• Ensure workspace is maintained in a safe working environment 

Trade license, Site Inductions and Clearances

• Glazier trade certificate.
• Current driver’s license
• Glass Standards knowledge
• Construction Industry White Card
