Global Sales Lead Mining & Resources

At Forwood, we're on a mission to transform safety in high-risk industries, and we’re searching for a top-performing sales leader to help us scale that impact. As our “Global Sales Lead – Mining & Resources”, you'll drive new business growth across global mining markets, selling complex SaaS solutions that save lives.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a dual-function leadership role; owning and closing high-value deals while leading a small, capable team of sales professionals focused on the mining and resources segment.

Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, you'll be both strategist and executor: developing go-to-market approaches, engaging senior decision-makers, and mentoring a lean team to hit their targets. You’ll be the face of Forwood in the mining industry, driving revenue while helping clients improve safety outcomes across the globe.

Our fatality prevention technology is proven and trusted by some of the world’s most high-risk industries. As we expand into new markets, we’re seeking a confident and strategic sales leader to help us grow our impact where it matters most.

This position is due to start 1st October 2026. 

What You Bring:

• A track record of leading sales growth in mining or industrial sectors, while still personally driving high-value deals


• The ability to shape and execute a global go-to-market strategy with precision and impact


• Experience building or improving sales processes, structures and ways of working.


• Confidence in presenting complex SaaS solutions to executives and operational leaders alike


• Strength in pipeline ownership: consistently building and maintaining strong coverage and forecasting with accuracy


• Leadership that inspires: you coach, support, and elevate your team while driving results yourself


• The ability to bring clarity, focus and momentum to a team.


• Cross-functional collaboration skills that turn strategy into execution across product, customer success, and marketing


• Commercial awareness and agility to respond to industry shifts and seize emerging opportunities


• Proven ability to lead new business growth across emerging and expanding markets


• Deep relationship building skills across entire organisations, from frontline teams to executive leaders


• Passion and purpose in driving the adoption of a proven fatality prevention solution in industries that need it most

You’ll Thrive in This Role if You Are:

• A proven SaaS sales leader, preferably with mining or heavy industry experience


• Drawn to environments that are still evolving and not fully defined


• Energised by building and improving, not just maintaining what already exists


• A strong closer and trusted advisor who can build relationships at the C-suite level


• Experience managing high-performing sales pipelines with discipline and accuracy


• Demonstrated ability to lead a team while executing on personal revenue targets


• Polished communicator with strong commercial and technical storytelling ability


• Deep understanding of the mining and resources sector and safety-related challenges


• Highly self-driven, organized, and strategic

• Willingness to travel globally as required
