About the Department
St Augustine’s is a 10 bed ward located at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, providing tertiary care to male and female prisoners from the state of Victoria. St. Augustine’s is an acute medical and surgical ward providing pre-operative and post-operative care and also treats multiple medical conditions including gastrointestinal diseases, cancer and infectious diseases. The small team of dedicated clinicians strives to provide the highest level of care to the prisoner population to ensure the best possible health and social outcomes.
About the Role
An opportunity exists for experienced Grade 2 Registered Nurses to join our team on a permanent full time or part time basis. Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or delegate, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care within our team environment. You will also be responsible for your own professional development, for supporting and assisting your colleagues and facilitating achievement of specific KPI’s as developed for St Augustine’s.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).
