The Opportunity
As a Graduate Accountant in our Sydney CBD office, you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience that sets the foundation for a successful accounting career. You'll become an integral part of a collaborative team, working closely with and being mentored by experienced Partners who are invested in your growth.
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
About you:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
Relevant experience within an accounting practice during or after your studies (ideally 12 months)
Experience with accounting software, such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Committed to providing exceptional service and being a collaborative team member
