Graduate Accountant - Urgent Hiring

The Client 
Our client is a reputable chartered accountant firm who provides various accounting services. They offer services such as auditing, tax preparation and planning, financial reporting, management consulting, and other financial advisory services.

The team currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Accountant with a relevant accounting/finance degree. The client is looking for a recent graduate or someone with experience to join the team early June/July. 

Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for individual, partnership, company, trust and superfund clients.
• Preparation of FBT returns.
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
• Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated.
• Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required/
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as deemed appropriate.
