Graduate Treasury Officer - Collaborative Environment

My client is looking for a Treasury Risk employee. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced 2nd line Risk & Compliance team in the Australian branch of a Foreign bank.  

Key responsibilities include the monitoring and reporting of daily liquidity risk, market risk, and trading risk, along with preparation and presentation of monthly reports to the branch’s Management Committee.  
 

The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin, have an insatiable desire to learn, and be willing to take on new tasks when they arise.  You will be working with a highly experienced team who will teach you banking and risk management from the ground-up, establishing a platform for your long-term career in banking.  

Your key skills will include –

• Excellent numeracy – including existing experience with Excel
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to prepare accurate submissions and presentations
• A focus on accuracy
• A proven willingness to learn
• Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Undergraduate degree in business, economics or finance fields
• Some understanding of banking, bank regulations, and banking law is ideal but not essential.
