About the role:

The Grain Bar Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and success of Grain Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through outstanding beverage service, innovative cocktail and bar offerings, and a highly engaged team culture. The Grain Bar Manager leads all aspects of bar operations, including team development, service excellence, financial performance, inventory management, compliance, and maintaining the highest luxury hospitality standards. Working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team, the Grain Bar Manager drives revenue growth, enhances guest satisfaction, and upholds the reputation of Grain Bar as a premier destination for both hotel guests and local patrons.

What you will do: 

• Lead, inspire and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional guest experiences 
• Create a positive, high-energy culture where teamwork, engagement and performance thrive
• Oversee all aspects of Grain Bar operations, ensuring seamless service and luxury hospitality standards
• Drive guest satisfaction by proactively handling feedback, resolving concerns and creating memorable experiences
• Recruit, coach and mentor talent while supporting ongoing training and career development
• Partner with culinary, sales and marketing teams to deliver exciting promotions, menu innovations and signature bar experiences 
• Champion safety, hygiene and workplace compliance while maintaining immaculate venue standards
• Maximise revenue opportunities through smart pricing, forecasting and business planning
• Manage inventory, labour costs and financial performance to deliver strong commercial results 
• Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously evolve the Grain Bar experience to keep it fresh, relevant and sought-after

What you bring:

• A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create exceptional guest experiences
• Proven leadership experience in a premium bar or restaurant environment
• The ability to motivate, coach and develop teams to perform at their best
• Strong operational expertise with a hands-on approach to service excellence
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams and departments
• A commercial mindset with experience managing revenue, costs, budgets and profitability
• A creative edge and interest in beverage trends, cocktails, guest engagement and venue experiences
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, cleanliness and safety standards
• The drive to continuously improve, innovate and contribute to the ongoing success of Grain Bar
