About the role

As a Graphic Designer, you'll be instrumental in translating our vision into captivating visuals that resonate with our diverse audience. Collaborate with our dynamic marketing team to create compelling designs across various platforms, leaving a lasting impression on our passengers and partners alike.

This is a 14-month full-time fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and Production: Create visually appealing marketing communications, including layout, typesetting, and pre-press tasks, ensuring they meet high standards and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Internal Design Requests: Design corporate documents, presentations, signage, digital assets, templates, and fulfill ad hoc design needs promptly and effectively.
• Brand Guideline Adherence: Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all collateral and reinforce the airport's brand identity.
• Supplier Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and manage communication to ensure timely and cost-effective production of printed materials, maintaining quality standards.
• Photoshoot Coordination: Coordinate and oversee photoshoots to capture imagery aligned with Adelaide Airport's brand identity and promotional objectives, ensuring high-quality visual content.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain photo and graphic design assets to facilitate easy access and streamline future design processes.
• Wayfinding Map Creation: Collaborate with the drafting team to create clear and effective wayfinding maps, enhancing the customer experience by providing intuitive navigation within the airport.
• Team Support: Provide flexible support across the Customer Brand & Marketing team, contributing to various projects and tasks as needed to achieve departmental objectives.

Key requirements include:

• Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design related courses.
• 2 – 4 years of relevant graphic design.
• A high level of technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• An understanding of digital asset requirements for social media, web and eDMs.

The person

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced and energetic graphic design content designer who can conceptualise and execute marketing campaigns. 
• You will have excellent written and communication skills with a strong drive to create successful results and quickly adapt to changes within an agile environment.
• You have exceptional organisation skills to meet deadlines with a high attention to detail.
• You have the ability to work as part of a team but with a proactive self-driven attitude.
