ARITA – Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association – is now hiring for an in-house junior graphic designer, who will also assist with some marketing activities.
You’ll be based in our Head Office in Sydney and as the Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant (part-time) you’ll be part of a team who consistently deliver high-quality education courses, profession-specific conferences, networking events and industry thought papers and presentations.
Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you’ll be working on a variety of campaigns, projects and events. Your week will involve designing visual assets for all ARITA channels (webpage, social media, emails, ARITA Journal) as well as designing broader campaign material like PowerPoint presentations, direct-mail pieces, brochures, booklets, and event collateral.
You will be able to utilise your creative ideas to design the look and feel for ARITA major events (whilst adhering to corporate style-guides) as well as contributing to the overall brand strategy under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
We are looking for someone who can also assist with some basic marketing tasks to help with the implementation of the busy marketing calendar. Marketing-related tasks will include things like, writing social media captions and posting to social media channels, setting up email marketing assets (that you’ve designed and created!) in Mailchimp, and other general marketing admin tasks.
On average you’ll spend 70% of your week designing and 30% of your week assisting with marketing tasks.
The role is being offered as part-time between 20-25 hours per week (negotiable). We are happy to consider applicants who would like to work school hours across 4 or 5 days or those that would prefer three full days. The role will require you to be in the office for a portion of at least 3 days per week to support collaboration with the Head of Marketing and the rest of the team.
