Graphic Designer/Video Editor

The Role

As the Graphic Designer/Video Editor for BlackMilk, support our GTM process creating assets and editing video that brings our products to life. We are a storytelling brand and with every image telling a thousand words, you'll have the every important role of storytelling our products and ranges for our very passionate customer base.

Combine your love for all things creative with a daily mix of the following:

• Concept and design visually engaging assets across channels including digital, web, emails & video and social.
• Edit video content, providing various iterations for the paid ads and social.
• Support the creation of content across animation, motion graphics and video - keeping up with latest trends and editing techniques.
• Ensure design concepts are on brand and consistent across channels.
• Collaborate with external design and advertising agencies on brand initiatives.
• Provide graphic design support to other departments in the wider business.

About You

You are a well-rounded commercial Graphic Designer with experience across the traditional graphic design, animation and video. You understand how to pull together an engaging EDM that tells a story and delivers on the brief from the Digital Marketing team. You'll know how to support the Social team in the creation of content that will perform based on their content brief. You bring a curiosity to your work and not afraid to ask the hard questions. You are a self-starter, and have a flexible “can do’ attitude.

Some of the things we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years experience in mid - senior graphic design role and ideally in ecommerce.
• Relevant experience & skills in video/motion production and animation
• Experience in video editing tools such as Premier Pro & After Effects
• Strong experience in Adobe programs for design including Illustrator, Photoshop
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and highly creative mindset
• Passionate about the world of video and graphic design
• Team player with strong communication skills.
