This role will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Accountant position will collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct periodic financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to identify potential discrepancies or irregularities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and information to auditors as required.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA /CA certification is preferred.
- Current Police clearance check.
