Grounds Maintenance Technician

About the Business:

MPS is a growing trade services business providing in-house Grounds Maintenance, General Building and HVAC services for many large customers across the greater Sydney region. We have a team of many multi-skilled trades people offering a broad range of trade services to our customers in Child Care, Aged Care, Not For Profits & Charity Organisations, not to mention contracts with leading Facility Management companies.

Role to include:

• Experienced Grounds Technician
• Preventative / Reactive Maintenance works
• Full time position, hourly rate / paid weekly
• Immediate start, once security vetted
• Willing to help with general trade works outside of Grounds, if/when required

To be considered you must:

• Ability to use technology/workplace systems/applications (ie phone work app)
• Be multi skilled, efficient and have strong attention to detail
• Be available Monday - Friday 7am start
• Have a WHS induction white card
• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Ability to pass Working With Children Check in NSW

To be successful, applicants must have the following:

• Tidy / well presented person
• Self-managed and driven
• Current NSW drivers license – fully maintained Company utility vehicle provided
• Good communication / writing skills
• OHS knowledge and OHS white card.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own
