Group Quality Systems Manager

The Position:

The position is based in the Northern suburbs of Perth in Western Australia.

The Group Quality Systems Manager (GQSM) will be responsible for

• Coordination and implementation of prescribed Quality procedures and Approved Operating Systems & Protocols throughout the Group of Companies.
• Compliance with procedures by operatives associated with the Group of Companies encompassing all facets of the business including World Class Quality Control and introduction of Root Cause Analysis Culture.
• Audit and compliance to Quality procedures by Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors in conjunction with the Organisations standards
• Execution of Internal Audit Findings
• Addressing findings from 3rd Party External Audits
• Support Supplier Quality issues /Supplier Evaluation Processes
• Updating/Writing Procedures and Work Instructions
• Report on Test failures and elevated Rework levels and assist Production in addressing the issues

Candidates with the following attributes, abilities and experience are encouraged to apply

Essential:

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance Management and/or Continuous Improvement.
• Lead Auditor/Internal Audit ISO 9001-2015 qualifications.
• Be able to understand complex customer quality issues requiring corrective actions
• Report on Customer Survey and address the corrective actions.
• Hands on experience with the implementation on Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Electronics industry.
• Knowledge of Fire Detection and Emergency Warning Systems:
• Able to work under extreme pressure
• Effective Management Skills
• Be able to travel

Desirable:

• Tertiary qualifications in an Electronics Engineering discipline
• Experience in the use of Navision and Quality Management System
• Prior experience in the direct manufacture of Fire Detection and Emergency Warning Systems is desirable.
