Group Reservations Coordinator

Novotel Sydney Darling Square and Pumphouse Sydney is seeking a Group Reservations Coordinator to join our team. Novotel Sydney Darling Square which is conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts is the perfect location for guests whether they’re travelling for business, leisure, or both. Our 230 contemporary accommodation rooms overlook the Darling Square precinct on one side and The Chinese Garden of Friendship on the other.

Job Description

• Handling all aspects of group reservations (mainly leisure) and maintaining accurate and efficient communication with clients
• Coordinate with the Sales/Events teams to understand group requirements to meet client’s needs
• Maintaining detailed records of group blocks, special request, billing information and follow up on invoicing and payment
• Work closely with Revenue Team and collaborate with other departments such us Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B to ensure smooth running of groups stay
• Assist in resolving any issues or concerns related to group bookings
• Create opportunities for increased revenue & loyalty to achievefinancial targets
• Ensuring service standards & agreed systems are achieved
• Assist FIT reservations, as per business demand

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations preferred
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in hotel reservations systems, property management systems and Microsoft Office suite
