With its official opening now scheduled for September 2024, Lanson Place Parliament Gardens, Melbourne will set new benchmarks in boutique luxury accommodation. 

Lanson Place offers a luxurious home-away-from-home experience for short and extended stays at central locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila. Melbourne will be the first in Australia and flagship for the brand to expand its portfolio to other Australian and New Zealand gateway cities. Since 1995, the company has been delivering on its mission to perfect the art of authentic hospitality, building residential communities and extending attentive and efficient service enveloped in the philosophy of family. 

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to problem-solve contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Main duties

-Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
-Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
-Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
-Process guest payments and ensure accurate billing.
-Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfi l guest requests.
-Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
-Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed.
-Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
-Collaborate with the guest services team to continuously improve guest satisfaction and service delivery.

Key Requirements

You have experience in customer service and love meeting new people. You’re fascinated to hear people’s stories and are organised and a strong communicator. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bright and bubbly personality with a creative flair
• Excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of motivation, self-discipline and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in the hotel industry advantageous
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (internal & external) as well as varying management levels.
• Ability to pivot focus in a fast paced environment 
• Ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships
• Energy, drive and tenacity to succeed 
• Passion for hospitality
