Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for customer service? Monte Pio are a Reputable and award winning Accommodation, Conference and Function Centre based in the Hunter Valley and seeking an enthusiastic Guest Services Receptionist.

About Monte Pio:
The historic Monte Pio Hotel in Hunter Valley, dating back to the 1800s, offers 47 guest rooms, a restaurant, cafe and four function rooms, catering to both corporate travelers and tourists.

Position:
This role is employed on a casual basis with an hourly rate of $30.10. (+ Overtime and weekend rates). 6-8 hour shifts with roster provided two weeks in advance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome and professionally check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with breakfast set up and bar service as needed.
• Help service function/conference rooms. 
• Manage reservations across multiple departments such as restaurant, conference, accommodation.
• Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless guest experiences!

To be successful in this role:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Responsible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• RSA certification is required.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
