Role Purpose:
The Guest Services Specialist plays a pivotal role in enriching the experience of our members and guests by managing the Welcome Area, overseeing aspects of guest administration, and ensuring the smooth operation of our space. Embracing the diversity of each day, the Guest Services Specialist thrives in a dynamic, hands-on role, making every interaction memorable and exceptional.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the friendly face greeting members and guests, ensuring a smooth and personalised check-in and check-out process, and managing guest arrivals.
  • Assist in café operations, delivering high-quality barista, food services, and catering support - bonus kudos if you've been a barista before! 
  • Supervise daily opening and closing routines, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Address member and guest questions, enquiries, booking requests, and mail both in person and via email promptly and professionally.
  • Act as the primary contact for member issues, resolving them efficiently, logging incidents, and directing members to appropriate resources with a focus on excellent service.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support seamless operations.
     

About you: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar service-oriented sector.
  • Customer-focused and hospitality-driven, with the ability to adapt to guest needs and preferences to enhance their overall experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and practical approach, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Barista skills and beverage preparation knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is also welcomed. We are committed to teaching you how to deliver a high-quality coffee experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external partners.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to make sound decisions, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Proficient multitasking skills, maintaining focus and productivity in a dynamic environment.
  • A genuine passion for building relationships, with the ability to create warm and engaging interactions and foster strong connections.
  • Attention to detail, essential for creating unique and authentic member experiences.
