Job Description - HC Driver

What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced HC truck driver to join our team in Melbourne’s West. The successful candidate will be experienced with Taught liner, in strapping loads of palletised freight, effective communication and demonstrates a commitment to safety in the workplace. This is a permanent day shift opportunity working across Monday – Friday 6am - 2pm with plenty of overtime available. We are offering competitive rates and an opportunity to grow within an Iconic Australian Transport Company. Key areas:

Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus

Daily prestart checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior

Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors and customer as needed

Ensure loads are restrained appropriately.

Complete run sheets and ensure you collect all critical documents.

Are you the one?

Current and valid HC license

Experience with taut liner and load restraint

History of safe work practices

Familiarity with Melbourne’s West

Strong customer service and communication skills
