Mantina Quarries and Mantina Concrete is a family business focused on manufacturing and delivering high performance Quarry and Concrete products. We cater for all projects ranging from large infrastructure projects through to residential developments. Our customers include government agencies, domestic and commercial builders, civil contractors and home renovators. Mantina Concrete services Adelaide and outer northern regions. A large fleet of modern concrete trucks enables Mantina Concrete to provide consistent, reliable and prompt customer service. Mantina Quarries operates a hard rock quarry at Kapunda SA, supplying Adelaide and the Mid North Region of SA. A large fleet of tippers ensures prompt and reliable delivery. 

The position 

The position requires someone who can operate a tipper combination, either semi with tipper or truck and trailer (3-4 axle trailer), position available for both combinations working 5.5 days/week.

Location 

There are positions available for drivers at our Kapunda quarry site for an immediate start.

Qualifications & experience

• Current valid HC (heavy combination) licence
• Experience with 18 speed road ranger essential
• Experience operating a truck and quad trailer combination highly regarded
• Experience driving a truck and trailer combination is preferred but not a necessity, training can be provided.
• Semi tipper experience highly regarded.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Operate a heavy vehicle delivering quarry products to client sites
• Ability to follow instructions, use initiative and deliver products safely
• Regularly clean and maintain the allocated truck
• Complete basic documentation as directed
• Communication with customers and other workers on a job site
• Available to work 5.5 days a week
• Comply with health and safety requirements
• A strong work ethic and flexible approach to start times
