Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahon’s internal labour support division, providing support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day.

About the Role 
We are looking for a HD Fitter to join the team! You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on mobile plant across our Mt Carlton Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently. 

Role Details and Benefits 
•    Location: Mt Carlton - Gold Mine - Townsville
•    Roster: 7:7 DIDO 
•    Rate: Up to $85 per hour (temp to perm) 
•    Field Service Ute

Responsibilities  
•    Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on CAT, Hitachi & Liebherr fleet
•    Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures 
•    Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance 
•    Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
•    Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work 

What You’ll Bring 
•    Australian-recognised trade 
•    Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) ideally in Surface Mining 
•    Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
•    Commitment to safe work practices and job quality
