About us! 

Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor specializing in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage and heavy transportation, and rehabilitation services.

We operate a diversified fleet of over 500 pieces of Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu and custom designed and built machinery. 

We have some exciting opportunities for experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team, based at our Jacinth Ambrosia site, in South Australia.

• $64 - $68 Flat / hour + $4 / hour Site Allowance + 15% Nightshift Loading
• Permanent, Fulltime Employment Opportunity
• FIFO from Adelaide or FIFO / DIDO from Ceduna ONLY
• 2:1 or 2:2 Roster Available, Working Day and Night Shift
• Great Camp with Meals, Gym, Pools, Sporting Facilities and Planned Activities

Responsibilities: 

• Experience repairing and maintaining our machinery such as:
  CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere mining equipment.
• Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment.
• Diagnose and Work through Complex Problems
• Team Oriented
• Driver of Continuous Improvement
• Ability to meet deadlines whist maintaining a strong approach to safety

Tickets/Qualifications/Requirements:

• Australian Recognized Trade Qualification. (Heavy Mobile Diesel)
• Current Drivers License – HR or a above
• High Risk Work License - LF, WP
• Australian Passport or Citizenship Certificate

• Successful applicants must be able to be fit to work in remote locations, in a range of conditions.
